It also means it's the night of the annual Fiesta de la Música in many parts of Spain, a recent tradition that was started in France but spreads a little further each year and is now becoming known as World Music Day. sights and Sounds aboundAs the long evenings grow warmer you'll find a wealth of festivals and concerts all around the region. But that's not all. Summer may be an ideal time to escape to the cool comfort of the local museums or galleries, where you can find talented local and international artists showing their work.
